Day 98

Step 6
Be Your Own Best Friend
You have to love yourself before anyone else can love you. When you start the process of self improvement you will begin to notice more self confidence and you will like what you see when you look in the mirror and think about yourself. Now you can use yourself as an example of a transformed, more disciplined, and self improved to others. Self improvement will make you a better person and this will inspire other people, and the rest of the world will follow.
This seems to be a running theme through alot of these self improvement courses. There must be some truth to it. Even my Mom would say, "If you don't like yourself, how is anybody else going to like you?"
Such a long road to go before becomming this better person that I want to be.

Why is it that loving, or even liking ourselves seems to be the most difficult step?

Keep at it, Linda. There are plenty of reasons to love you!
