Day 197

My friend, MJ, is getting me hooked on a new way of eating. You must eat every 2 hours and not longer than every 3 hours. 3 meals, 3 snacks and 6 to 8 glasses of water per day. You must pair up a carbohydrate with a protein. It is suppose to give you more energy and make you lose weight. I'm for that!!
So happy it is Friday. Looking forward to this weekend. Michael is off tomorrow for a change. We are going for pedicures and then do some geocaching up north of town. The weather is going to be scumptious too.
And there is always house chores, laundry and jewelry making to keep me busy. Movies for the weekend are Inglorious Bastards and 2 discs of Deadwood.

I love Deadwood! So addictive: too bad it's done! :(

I knew a guy who used that method of weight loss. I watched him drop about 40 pounds in 2 1/4 months. He looked happy and not tired at all.

Just watch your sugar levels and your heart. Since it pairs a carb with a protien, there's not worry of ketosis. That can stress your kidneys, liver and heart. Losing weight can help lower your cholesterol and blood pressure, so that's always a plus! Be sure to follow up with the doc, however. Now, I sound like I think I'm your mom! ;)
