Not as hot today, but, still did not get much done when I was home.

I was reading where they consider Louisiana the laziest state in America because of the depressive humid heat makes people there move slower. I can understand that. We do not have the humidity, but, when its hot I slow way down.

Another Monday. Hottest day of the year, so far. 98 degrees. Heat is nobody's friend.

Another hot day here. I'm still making jewelry and catching up watching some shows I recorded.

I watched to great shows on PBS yesterday. One was a concert of 3 Canadian women acts. Dala, Oh Suzanna and Good Lovelies. Awesome music if you like women singer/songwriters. So I went a searching on emusic and sure enough they had all three and I had 50 downloads to use. Everytime I think about non subscribing to emusic something like this comes up and I'm glad I didn't. So, new music to listen to at work on Monday.

The other show was Dr. Neal Barnhart on Reversing Diabletes. He made it sound uncomplicated. I bought his book from BOMC2 a while ago. I need to pull it down from the shelf and give it a read.

It's going to be a hot one today. I'm staying close to home and catching up on laundry and making jewelry. Not exciting, but life is what life is.

I haven't posted very much this week. It's been a crazy time. Between my mother-in-law who is not doing so well to Sammie going completely blind has taken alot of my attention. Lil' Sam was so depressed. But he seems to have started becomming adjusted to his new situation in small ways. There is still alot of crying and barking when he gets lost and cannot maneuver where he wants to be. He is eating and drinking well, so that is a good sign.

BJ, M's daughter, was here the beginning of the week and it was a great visit. She is such a lovely woman. She was always the sweetest child and now in adulthood she is what every parent would want for their children.

I have been slowly getting back into making jewelry. The creativity comes and goes. I have alot of orders that are needing to get done. This weekend will be a perfect time to spend catching up.

Went to the doctor who has now bought my doctor's practice. The new doctor I chose, who was perfect has quit to become a businessman. I was quite dissappointed in this new doctor. Another pill pusher pushing the pill of the week. Do you think for an allergic rash I need a mood elevator drug and a stomach pill? So I'm looking for a new general practioner.

New to the DVR this week: Animal Planet's Last American Cowboy. Awesome show! Hard life. Gene Simmons Family Jewels is back for another season.

I watched a very interesting National Geographic special called The Real Slumdogs. This weekend I am going to watch the movie Slumdog Millionare. We are officially hooked on Deadwood. What a great series. We been renting the series through Netflix. And I found out today Dexter, season 4 is being released in August. Awesome!

My friend, MJ, is getting me hooked on a new way of eating. You must eat every 2 hours and not longer than every 3 hours. 3 meals, 3 snacks and 6 to 8 glasses of water per day. You must pair up a carbohydrate with a protein. It is suppose to give you more energy and make you lose weight. I'm for that!!

So happy it is Friday. Looking forward to this weekend. Michael is off tomorrow for a change. We are going for pedicures and then do some geocaching up north of town. The weather is going to be scumptious too.

And there is always house chores, laundry and jewelry making to keep me busy. Movies for the weekend are Inglorious Bastards and 2 discs of Deadwood.
